Diversified Site Services LLC is actively looking for an Assistant Controller. Diversified is a growing construction company that works mainly on Federal projects. The assistant controller will be responsible for multiple tasks as outlined below.

a day in the life
Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company’s financial status
Produces and manages balance sheets and analyzes future earnings and expenses
Assists with management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization
Assists with preparations for audits
Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
Ensures compliance with and prepares reports according to applicable government regulations
Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports
Coordinates with and prepares reports for upper management
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Input daily a/p invoices and process payments
Assisting with billing and tax documentation preparation
Maintain Work in Progress Schedule
Job Costing of all projects
necessary qualifications
Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent critical thinking skills
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of AIA invoicing
education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
At least 3 years’ experience in accounting
